The miracle of the internet continues to amaze! A couple of weeks ago, I got an email from Robyn Walker, a producer for the popular "Nights" program on Radio New Zealand. Their staff had read about the Naples underground on Napoliunderground.org and wanted to do an interview. Being a retired radio and TV broadcaster and translator for Napoliunerground, I was delighted and flattered, and promptly accepted. The interview was recorded a week ago with "Nights" show host, Chris Whitta who is a very professional, immediately likable radio program host. He had done his homework, having read some of our postings about the history of the sottosuolo on this site and asked great questions.
It was a relaxed and enjoyable interview, which was to have been 15 to 20 minutes but wound up as a 34 minute program segment. Napoliunderground is most grateful for this wonderful opportunity to increase awareness of the fantastic mystery world beneath Naples and our thanks go particularly to Chris and Robyn.
You may listen via podcast at this streaming link from the Radio New Zealand site which will be available until August 10, 2009.
