Greetings.....I will be in Paris from May 18th-May 25th, and I am trying to make contact with someone who may guide me through some of the catacombs

Finding a volunteer guide is quite a challenge. Not to mention one who'd be proficient in English.

If I were you, I'd try to get my hands on a map and try to find out on an English speaking forum where the main access points are. Then, go explore alone for a bit. You're likely to meet people IRL who then would accept to take you along or just try to go a bit farther all by yourself.

Just make sure to have enough light (i.e. TWO led lamps) and to tell a friend where you're going and at what point he/she should alert authorities if you don't show up again (usually 24 hours).
