now this is where it got intresting in my research after, this site belongs to a company called Solic, something i saw said about PCB and electrics, another says about refinerys... this falls into refinerys as was a petrol station/garage

so as we crossed over the tarmac we are now in another site owned by Total, i was baffled by all the no smoking signs, and now we know why

which after looking for that on google earth not 2 minutes away i found this hoard of abandonment, well thats next weekend covered then Big Grin

as i said before, today we headed off to see what we thought was afew empty barns but was in fact a huge site by far the biggest ruin i've walked around, long since used, its roads now overgrown paths (the roads are clearly marked on TomTom but apart from afew gates you'd never beleive they were there, the factorys themselves were of epic proportions (would make a great classic car museum) and judging by things i've seen on the net the company is still in business making similar products (from speedhumps to blow up dolls i presume) but no longer in the limouzin, the site was near impossible to get into so overgrown, i'll take a strimmer next time [Image: rolleyes.gif]

the google link and why not have some pics....
